We hit the road first thing this morning, headed to Fayette New York and the site of the Whitmer family home. We enjoyed another fascinating and inspiring tour. The Whitmer home was the location of many miracles, evidence of God's hand in the work of the restoration. Here the prophet Joseph came to complete the translation of the golden plates with Oliver as his scribe.
It would be hard to share all we saw and heard during the ninety minutes we spent there. I loved the stories, the testimonies, the replicas of real homes of real people and the lovely peaceful surroundings.
